Joey Smith, Restoration Engineer, is the newest member of the Restoration staff. Joey is an Environmental Engineering graduate with an educational background in engineering design, fluvial mechanics, and statistical analysis. He has obtained his engineer in training certificate. His experience includes a student internship conducting field topographical surveys of creeks and culverts and a laboratory analysis of sediment transport in a small flume for a project analyzing the effect of sediment loads on the fish passage capacity of highway culverts in California.
